About Sydney & Area Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber's origins date back to February 24, 1911, when it was incorporated as the Sydney Board of Trade with a membership of 38. In 2002, the Industrial Cape Breton Board of Trade became the Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce, to modernize our image and bring the organization in line with other business organizations in North America.
About INAC / ABC
INAC is one of the federal government departments responsible for meeting the Government of Canada's obligations and commitments to First Nations, Inuit and Métis, and for fulfilling the federal government's constitutional responsibilities in the North. INAC's responsibilities are largely determined by numerous statutes, negotiated agreements and relevant legal decisions.

Ulnooweg has been providing loans and business services to Aboriginal entrepreneurs in Atlantic Canada since 1986. Ulnooweg's lending services bring financial support for businesses who may not be eligible for loans through other lending institutions. Ulnooweg recognizes that Aboriginal business owners bring a different set of experiences and skills to business.

Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation (ECBC) is a Crown corporation established pursuant to Part II of the Government Organization Act, Atlantic Canada, 1987 with a jurisdictional mandate which includes all of Cape Breton Island and a portion of mainland Nova Scotia in and around the Town of Mulgrave.
About Sydney Tar Ponds Agency
The Sydney Tar Ponds Agency is a single purpose Agency created by the Province of Nova Scotia. We are responsible for the day to day operations and oversight of many technical aspects of the cleanup. The Agency is directly accountable for management of the design, project management, contract implementation, design documents, specifications and contract tendering and more.
